My fav Christmas we’ve had! Our nightly neighborhood cruises! Nelson Lundberg

I know that's quite surreal. 1985, Christmas Day, Guam: I watched a bunch of Air Force Airmen drag onto Tarague Beach a real evergreen tree that they'd had flown in from the States. They set up a sign and started charging $10 a pop to have their Christmas Day photo made there on the beach next to a fully decorated Christmas tree. That day, my buddy and I got a most horrible sunburn watching the bikini-clad girls playing in the ocean. The most unusual, surreal, far-flung Christmas ever for this Tennessee mountain boy!!

Yesterday my daughter said I should be more deliberate about the photos I’m posting. Well, they are random - snippets of my life. In this season of politics - people will try to paint a picture of their opponent that is far from reality.
Reality is a strong family. Here are my brothers, dad and I. We lost him at 92, but he was an inspiration.

He certainly was! And very proud if his boys!

I don't think it's just in the political arena. Unfortunately, a lot of people in today's society spend way too much time making assumptions and accusations about someone that they haven't even taken the time to get to know personally. Or they actively choose to spread malicious lies that they cannot substantiate. You've done a phenomenal job for us here in our local community and anyone who says otherwise is uninformed. Keep up the good work. I'm sorry that you've become a victim in this, but thank you for not giving up! God Bless you and Lisa!
